The Next Step
Our CF Program
The Road to CCCs
Having a Clinical Fellowship (CF) supervisor is invaluable for the professional growth and development of new clinicians. These supervisors provide guidance, support, and mentorship to CFs as they navigate the complexities of clinical practice. Through regular supervision sessions, CFs receive constructive feedback, learn evidence-based techniques, and gain insights into effective intervention strategies. This close mentorship not only ensures the delivery of high-quality care to clients but also fosters confidence and competence in CFs as they transition from academia to clinical practice. Ultimately, the presence of a dedicated CF supervisor enhances the overall quality of speech therapy services and contributes to the ongoing advancement of the profession.
What We Offer
Chatterbugs Speech Therapy accepts 3 clinical fellows looking to achieve their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs). CFs are placed within a NJ school via contract. Supervision is tailored to the CF's individual needs and will always meet CF supervision requirements set forth by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). This program is designed for new grads who may not have the foundational knowledge of NJ's school system and require extra guidance to navigate this new setting.
Full Time School Based Contract
A full time NJ school based position is available for 2 CFs looking to gain their CCCs.
Part Time School Based Contract
A part time NJ school based position is available for 1 CF looking to gain their CCCs at a slower pace.
Private
CF Supervision
Private CF supervision is available to any school based CF who is in need of a mentor. Only NJ based schools are applicable.
